Description

I’m fascinated by the works of the ancient cave painters, who created their pigments from minerals and fat.  There’s nothing like emulation to get a feel for life in a deep cave.  By candle light, using the basic colors extracted from my neat tubes, I imagine I’m there with them… in spirit.

This painting has been shown once publicly at the City of Petoskey building, 2nd floor outside the meeting room along with Rural; both large format pieces.
