This vivid mass of blended imagery shows what pure experimentation will result. Marks made without thought, blotted, shifted and printed for effect. Scrubs that became imagery are the visions that had settled to the depths of my mind… reborn!
This painting evolved from a rubbing taken from two rectangular tar wand smacks left on the pavement in my neighborhood. The tar wand gets clogged and is smacked on the roadway to scrape off the sticky tar. Everything else evolved from those marks.
