Now through August 31st is the Summer Salon where five of my painting are on display and are for sale. Vignettes, New Arrivals, Pride Disrupted, Mirage and Lost Wisdom.

Several are variations on the panel painted collage, but one Lost Wisdom includes my first use of the projection of the canvas, accomplished by pressing an oak dowel into the reinforced rear of the canvas to create a raised section of canvas.  When painted, light reflects off this ‘conical’ surface and moves as the viewer moves.  Paint chips were added to the finish to create texture.  They’re all framed and wired to hang.
